this is a photo of me taken by David Monahan during my time back in Ireland over the winter. he originally photographed me for his incredible series of work on emigrants, the Leaving Dublin Projections, and this is a follow up piece. i’m sitting outside metro cafe off grafton street here, and it was taken on a beautiful old beronica camera. it might be my favourite ever photograph taken of me in my whole life.
